The Black Hoe Music Group is a bunch of independent netlabels set up in 2006 promoting jungle, drum'n'bass, breakcore and other subgenres of electronic music produced by up and coming artists worldwide. While the mother-label (known as Black Hoe) offers free singles, ep's and lp's in 320 kbps quality format, the other imprints' (Black Hoe Alimony, Golden Age and Project:V8) releases can be bought at digital music stores like Beatport, Juno Download, Chemical Records, Digital Tunes or Ithinkmusic.

An amazing journey to the frightful realm of harsh, mean bass', sad, ethereal melodies' and decadent atmosphere: this is Noisette's underworld. This guy has proven on a couple of hard drum'n'bass labels previously, although known by a different alias, Unabomber. His unmistakable mark permeates all the music on this wonderful album, be it darkstep, dubstep or halfstep.

"These were the first ever tunes I signed to a label under the name Malicious, having sent the demos to Black Hoe in late 2008!" said by Malicious. I still remember when recieved these tunes, the first ones by this guy. I knew that this young producer must have place in the drum'n'bass pantheon. His style has changed a lot during the years: these early ones are noisy and distorted not so clean and pure then today's Malicious. It is history now and if You follow Malicious, this release is 'must have' for You!

Two versions of Entheogen, two aliases of one man: the Cruize Of Fiction version is the dancefloor filler with fast hitting kicks and drums influenced by hardcore techno, the Crossbeat version with halfsteppy drum sequence focuses on the melody mostly.

Lone Wolf gave us seven of his archive collection presenting his 'no mercy' attitude. These seven push You into the darkest and hardest scene of dubstep/breakstep. Lone Wolf's unique sound merges the best moments of darkstep operating with amens and distorted bass and elements of hardcore, metal, hip-hop and experimental. Oh yes, and don't forget about those samples from old 'B' kung-fu/ninja movies flavouring the whole material!

The good old distortion era! This lp is a great example for something hard and heavy without compromise. The tracks were created between 2004 and 2008 so they are quite old but it is impossible not to give a platform for this great compilation.

Omni Music was initially set up to showcase Eschaton’s own productions as some tracks had no natural home on other labels, and he felt that there needed to be an avenue for these creations. During the label’s conception he began to hear a host of amazing demos which he felt deserved to be heard by the public and so took the decision to release other artist’s music too. The styles on the label will vary from jungle to glitchy dnb to chilled out downtempo tracks, the common denominator will always be deep thoughtful music. Eschaton aims to release high quality music that spans both the dark and the light, the yin and the yang.
